Mall Walkers

Montclair Walkers is a FREE excercise program open to all ages sponsored by Montclair Plaza, and the city of Montclair- Human Resources Division. The program began in 1986 and has over 400 members, with an average of 200 members participating each walking day. The Mall Walkers meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:00 am. Montclair Plaza supports Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity

Montclair Plaza has partnered with Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity to work on elimination of poverty housing in our community. This is a part of national partnership between General Growth Properties, (Montclair Plaza's owner/management company) and Habitat for Humanity International. Over the next three years, shoppers will be invited to participate in fundraising events, awareness campaigns and volunteer opportunities to benefit Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity. AMBER Alert Notifications Uniting America to Protect All Children

The first few hours are the most important when it comes to finding missing children. When there is an active AMBER Alert in the community, signage will be placed in the mall in high traffic locations. Thousands of shoppers will have access to the information, giving tremendous advantage to law enforcement working against the clock to reunite these children with their families.

Bark Ave and Meow Place

According to The Humane Society of the United States, between six and eight millions cats and dogs enter animal shelters in the United States. Only half of these animals make it out alive. The fact that most of these animals are healthy when they are euthanized makes their death all the more unnecessary and agonizing. Bark Ave. & Meow Place is an innovative concept that allows local shelters and rescue groups to bring adoptable animals to the mall where potential owners can be introduced to them in a welcoming environment.
